Also check out iTunes U if you have an ios device, its beyond amazing. I have been going through the oxford university lectures on quantum mechanics and there are so many other courses that I want to follow.

LOL nope, not planning on touching the Economics one with a 10 foot pole.... or a 7 foot Hungarian.  ;D

In the past, I've considered ordering one of "The Great Courses" when they go on sale for 80% off, but really, with all the free stuff online there's no need to.

A friend of mine is Italian, so I'm going to dabble a bit . . . even just to see him cringe as I royally botch his mother tongue. :P

We should! I had a conversation with him about it, and it came up that the way most courses teach a language is ass-backwards. Before learning the actual words and phrases, you have to learn cadence, accent, stress, and pronunciation. As an example, the difference between saying 'the EMphasis on the right SYllable' and 'the emPHAsis on the right syLLABle'. Essentially, learning to use your mouth in an entirely different way. Trying to find a lesson that fits this method better.
