QuoteTodd Stiefel is one of the great humanitarian philanthropists of the Humanist/Atheist/Freethought Community. His family has announced that it will match up to half a million dollars of donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for their Light The Night Walks fundraising effort. Please join us all in this cause and show the world what Humanism really stands for.

McQ

Good post and I think it's fine here. I support the LLS on a personal basis and my company gives them a TON of money. My oldest son (who is a Lymphoma survivor) was the honored guest in 2010's Light The Night here. I work closely with our local LLS group and have to say they are terrific.

Worthy of support for sure. Thanks for posting this!

I agree, thanks for posting. A friend of mine is a leukemia survivor, and my paternal grandma died from lymphoma cancer. Others in my family have died from cancer, too... and a year ago, a dear sweet little girl members of my family knew and loved passed away from brain cancer. Our family's got pretty close ties with the CCS (Canadian Cancer Society), so it's really good to see another group like the LLS stepping up for a funds drive.  :)

McQ, it's so awesome your son was the guest of honor that year! That's great. :)

On another note, Foundation Beyond Belief is awesome, and I really like what they do, too.
