I like anything vulgar. Lots of rich detail and colour, loads of stuff happening, the more disgusting the better. Remedias Varo, Jaroslaw kukowski, Jean-Marie Poumeyrol, Shintaro Kago (good fun), Gustav Klimt...

I also found this the other day. Not that keen on the artist overall - Ryohei Hase, does album covers and stuff - but I liked this enough to make it my wallpaper:

"That life has no meaning is a reason to live - moreover, the only one." - Emil Cioran.

Are you a fan of the Chapman Brothers work by any chance.

I don't have any pictures, but I really love Claude Monet.
Strange but not a stranger

I love my car more than I love most people.

He's always been my favorite.

I've dabbled in oil painting here and there, and I've always liked impressionist artists. Degas has always been my favourite.

He had a thing for dancers ;)
"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

M.C. Escher for me too.

I picture you as a Bosch kind of guy.

My creator Norman Lindsay had a thing for naked woman.
If he hadn't wasted his time in this way he could have painted me some better hats, and I wouldn't have to steal them.
And would it have killed him to give me a pair of generously proportioned buttocks? Na, just gives me spindly legs, bastard.
Ye, I understand children who resent their parents.

Bosch? Nah, I prefer Siemens :P

(As far as the Dutch painters go, he did do some mildly interesting stuff, but I'm not all that into it)

Jackson Pollock is another of my favorites

The U.S. Postal Service issued a stamp with this picture of Pollock however they photoshopped the siggy out of his mouth.

His stuff reminds me of a house painters drop cloth but I like it anyway.

What posessed them to do that? It isn't really an ad for the smokes brand unless you can actually SEE the brand, now is it?
