Well from myself, what I believe most is the existence of ET, because there are a lot of evidence proofing it.

Well there isn't any evidence for the existence of extra terrestrial life. There is evidence for unidentified flying objects but that doesn't mean there is evidence for aliens, to think they are one and the same is like solving the equation 0x2 and arriving at the answer 2.

I've been told that cats can see spirits, and that's what they're looking at when they stare into space for no apparent reason.  Based on that, my apt. is either loaded with spirits or invisible mice.

Cat? Maybe. Aye ayes almost certainly ;D

(Douglas Adam's, who wrote The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy said that it looked as if they could see into another dimension, with those...eyes. I think he was onto something ;D)

My dad claims to have seen ghosts, and I've 'seen' ghosts. Do I honestly believe they were the spirits of dead people randomly appearing to me? Of course not. Any sane person should equate seeing ghosts to hearing someone say something when they were silent.

This.  I've seen "ghosts" twice and the first experience was enough to convince they aren't real -- a "have to see it to disbelieve it" sort of thing.  It's just too silly.

I've seen ghosts, or what one would think to be ghosts, as well. I think just the fact that everyone has seen or experienced some sort of "ghostly" encounter or situation serves to show how un-ghostly they really are. We certainly aren't swimming in spirits, so if everyone has these experiences, it would seem it's more a common way of explaining something that we don't fully know how to explain seeing or hearing. Something all humans do or think of when we think we see something that creeps us out or seems weird.

Just my thoughts.

Wait, does anyone else think of "The Golden Rule" by The Lonely Island when looking at this pic? I mean, I'm not saying... but I'm just saying...
