I am genuinely surprised that we're number one...I didn't think we'd be ahead of China, even with all those factors counted. And with there being a growing emphasis on renewable energy and biofriendly fuels (not counting the farming area required to support it.)

I actually don't live there anymore I was just born there. Funnily enough you really start to notice and value it when you leave.
