I watched this again and still find it mind numbing. Somebody pays this guy, some greedy bastard puts a camera in front of this guy and laughs all the way to the bank. O'Reilly is bad enough but the people that exploit the gullible through him are a lot worse because you can be sure that know exactly what they are doing.

It might be sad, but on balance the existance of Bill O'Reilly means that you get a David Attenborough. Trouble is you get 10 Bill's for one David.

Maybe I'm being a cock-eyed optimist, but it seems to me this is the kind of stupid you have to work at to achieve.  It's just hard to imagine getting to his age, and with his degree of education and exposure, and not having some of these very simple things at least sink in when he's not looking.  I think he actually makes an effort to de-educate himself.
