Hello

I haven't looked at the forum yet, I have registered to see if there are any other Nihilists in the world. Or I should say, 'have come to the same logical conclusions as myself'.
I am not looking for opinions on anything, more people who can logically debate and help to rationalise certain subjects and 'gray areas'. I am not arrogant enough to think that I can't be wrong about many things.

I will make a thread regarding the first of my questions, I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks

James

Hi James

You are going to have to be patient for a while as there is a 50 post rule before you get let lose in the main parts of the forum. Being a Nihilist you're going to have to find a reason to hang around lol!

Welcome to HAF.

There are a few nihilists hanging about these forums, I suppose I'm one of them in a dictionary sense (I don't think there is any objective purpose for humans).

There are other things that you can discuss with anihilists, I find that discussing things with people who have very different views but are still willing to have a reasonable discussion is much better than talking with people who already agree with you on most things.

Any way, welcome to the forums.

Hello James
I love Nihilists or I would do but well, what's the point?

Hi nihilist, nice post I cannot argue that we do not know of a purpose relative to ourselves as the world does not revolve around us that's for sure!

Hi there!
I'm kind of "nihilish" (I'm totally copy-righting that word)
Welcome!
"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

Hello!  I look forward to talking with you.

Although I truly respect your beliefs, I cant help but think of "The Big Lebowski" anytime someone speaks about being a Nihilist.  My all-time favorite movie I might add.

Welcome.

I have to admit to being a bit dim but I'm not sure I fully grasp the concept of Nihilism.

Even after reading Wikipedia I think it flew over my head.  ???
