I think it's funny and accurate too...considering all the times Atheists use "God" to plead for something, curse at something/someone...Atheists that do this, give "God" all the power simply by using Him to express ultimate displeasure, ultimate happiness/satisfaction/exclamation or the ultimate go-to person when one wants something.

"God damn it!", "Jesus Christ!"
"Oh god!", "Oh Christ!"
"Oh please god!"  "Jesus! Please..."

It's funny to me because you wont hear anyone exclaiming, "Oh Great Spaghetti Monster" or "Unicorn Damn it!"

Does this prove God exists?  No...it simply proves "God's" place whether we believe in Him or not.

I would think that it simply proves the relevance of the idea of God in our culture and that relevance gets expressed in our language, not whatever you're trying to say (unless you're saying the same thing).
