Bad words on TV

What disgusts me even more is that the TV networks are running scared.  The government is so anxious to fine them for any little thing that might ::gasp:: upset or offend their constituents, the networks are bleeping every little thing for fear of being fined.

I find it interesting that we'll hear a character say "ass" then they bleep "hole."  Why?  And the whole "nipplegate" thing from the Super Bowl a few years back.  It's okay for kids to witness the violence that is professional football but heaven forbid they see a nipple?

I don't know, they've been saying shit a lot more on tv.  At least on the shows I watch, Always Sunny in Philadelphia and South Park.  Basic cable is still a joke, though.
