NASA strapped cameras to the sides of the two rockets on the Endevour launch recently. Here is the posted video. This is outstanding! Truly mind boggling to get the perspective of just how big the Earth is.

Being that it's NASA, hopefully you guys across the pond are able to view it.

Great stuff; thanks hismikeness!  I've just watched the first camera so far.  I think I enjoyed the fall back to earth even more than the ride up.

On a couple of the views (I believe there are six total) you can see several things if you look closely. One is the other rocket booster, in one scene it is falling within shot for quite some time. The other, more difficult to see, is the exhaust trail from blastoff is visible during the fall as well.

I was captivated by this!

I got to watch these this morning from another site and love them. The intertank cameras have the added dimension of sound, which is awesome. Great stuff, especially when you see, in each one, the sudden stability of the SRBs as the drogue parachutes deploy, and then the splashdowns.
