For any of you who like to listen to music while they work (or play) on the computer, I stumbled upon this site today:

Right now I'm listening to Radio Vietnam.  It's awesome!

Hey, that's pretty cool! I picked a classical station randomly and it popped right up and started playing. Nice find!

Here's what I listen to at home: http://www.di.fm/ I have the Ambient channel bookmarked in my Winamp player so that I can chill out when I'm at home.

I listen to yahoo music radio launchcast.

It has dozens of channels of all types of music, and also comedy and talk.  It is free.

OR YOU CAN CREATE YOUR VERY OWN CHANNEL!!!!

which is very customizable,  you click onto all the various genres, and rate which ones you love/hate and how much.

Also, you can rate the artist or the songs or the CD...on 1-4, or 'never play' and the computer sorta figures out what you like and starts throwing out similar music.  Pretty cool.  You can 'skip' up to 6 songs per hour.  You can rate each song as it goes by, too.  The more you 'rate' the music, the more YOUR channel it becomes.....

It is kinda interactive too, cuz my tastes are SO extremely eclectic and all over the board, i have all kindsa stuff as "LOVE IT".  And if it is playing soul music, and then some new age song goes by that i love, i might rate it highly, and then, the puter will start throwing a lotta new age for a while out at me.....then if i rate a country song highly, i chuckle cuz it'll shift over to those kinda songs for a while.  Kinda cool.....my very own shuffle.....

You can run it at the same time you are on line.
(Launchcast PLUS costs $4 a month, i think, to get zero commercials...but the ads are brief, and only 1 every 15 minutes...so i don't pay for that.....)

So i got MY OWN channel!!!!  woo hoo!!!!  Love it.  I think you can work it into ipods too, but i'm not sure.

There are 4 different sites i had to list as "okay sites" to get launchcast to play .....if anyone needs those 4 sites, let me know.  These sites are probably listed somewhere on Launchcast....

We've got sirius and dish, with like 100? channels?? in every room in the house.....and in the garage.....and on the deck......
LOVE MUSIC!!! It is the universal language.
