I haven't watched these yet so I can't speak specifically on them.  However, I'll just say you have to be careful about the History channel.  They often buy documentaries that present conjecture and even lies as facts, such as the guy who traced the ten plagues of Egypt to a volcanic eruption in the Mediterranean, or the one about "new evidence" that "proves" the Shroud of Turin was from the time of Jesus.  Ancient Aliens is a great example as well.
