So, you are struggling to find a g-friend that is comfortable with you being an Atheist (I note, you stated this on another thread).
Might I suggest that Church socials are not the best function for an Atheist to be looking for a potential partner.

You don't happen to live in the bible belt do you?

If Atheists are the vast minority then potentialy you could join a club that Christians are not comfortable with. That way you might be more likely to meet non Christians and hence have a chance with the ladies  ;)

No I don't live in the bible belt, I honestly think I would move if I did. And sadly there isn't any atheist, or non-theist specific groups here. But I do volunteer at animal shelters, homeless shelters, soup kitchens when I am able. And there are spots on the forms you have to fill out at all but the animal shelter as to your system of beleif and I put atheist as to assert the fact that atheist can be kind, helpfull people also. Not just out for them selves immorral asses, like the stereotype lables us.

Well done, I really like that you are open about it and show by example how selfless and fantastic atheists can be.
BTW in my opinion only Atheists can be selfless as the theists think for their good deeds they will be rewarded with a spot in heaven.

I live in NZ, we tend to be a tolerant bunch when it comes to religion, no troubles finding Atheists here.
But we are having a bit of troubles with racism right now. Some white guy handing out anti Chinese leaflets in Earthquake ravaged Christchurch and a politician applauding Bin Laden as a freedom fighter. But then again I expect there are nutters everywhere.

It's sad that people classify them selves as christians, yet spout hogswollow about hate. I personally do not acknoledge some one as being christian even if they say they are if they hate any race of people, or hate any one due to conflicting religious beleifs. That is not christian that is just hate mongering.

I am only three posts away from being able to post on the rest of the site, woot woot. My job gives me quite a bit of free time to post, which is nice.

That is one of the finest examples of 'post whoring' I have ever read and I'm one of the best 'post whores' there is!
If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.
