Hello,


I just want to say that I recently decided that I want to start with my PhD next year while I'm working on my Master.
Right now I'm working on my Bachelor, this will mean that I'll have to scramble about 30 ECTS in the final quarter of the year (a full year is 60 ECTS).
In other words, I won't have a life for the next three months...barely time to post here.
I'll hopefully be back in July.

My husband is currently finishing his MA and he's starting a Ph.d program in the fall. He's finding it quite intense, but rewarding.
"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. But, we missed the point the whole way along; It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing, or dance, while the music was being played.

Have fun! PhD programs are brutal, but they're also really exciting and challenging, so enjoy yourself while working.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.
