Quote from: "tunghaichuan"When I was in high school, I took Latin for the first three years. My senior year I wanted to do something different so I took Spanish.

When I was in college, I continued my Spanish studies, added a few linguistics classes and then went on to Russian.

I never really learned any language well enough to speak it. I was always more interested in the underlying structure and mechanics than communicating with language. I really envy those who can learn languages well enough to speak them.

EDIT: Just noticed you're in Colorado. Win.

Wow. I'm very flattered.  ;)

From another post you written, it sounds like you were born in 1988. I graduated from college in 1989.
