I'm hoping to have some actual 21st century contact here, with reason-minded people who are polite and considerate!

Welcome!  We're only human and we all get off track at times, but generally this is a very nice place.  I hope you like it here!

Before I decided to join this forum, I took a close look at the manner in which other newbies were welcomed. To my relief, I didn't see any of the snarky rudeness that greeted me at other forums, so maybe I've found the right place. :D
