How Multilingual Is HAF?

English and Portuguese. I can understand simple German, Spanish (since it's really close to Portuguese) and some French. I used to understand simple Hindi as well, but haven't practiced it in 10 years, so it's really rusted.

I like languages, but which really gets in the way of deeper learning is that I harbour an intense loathing for grammar and I'm too lazy to overcome difficulties in that area.

I subscribe to the school of thought that you don't really have to study grammar so much in order to use it naturally as just be exposed to many many correct sentances.

For example, I slept through all of my English grammar classes, read a few thousand English books(exposure) instead of doing my homework, and then went on to score better on the stupid standardized grammar tests than 99% of my peers.

It's all about exposing yourself to the language, living the language, being the language, and practicing the language.
