Ahhhahahah.  I've had to 'lion shave' a little kitty before when I worked at a vet clinic.  They're so adorable when they're shaved and most of the time, pretty pissed too.  =D

Very neat!

Quote from: "KDbeads"They should also avoid spilling and rolling in the glue when you aren't around.  One of ours did that with jewelry glue and ended up at the vet to be shaved.

I compose music, play guitar and several other instruments, and also write, anything from poetry to essays to one full novel (as yet unpublished).

But I'm pretty sure my poetry really sucks.  Well, most of it.

Made for a devout catholic friend about to undergo breast cancer treatment for the second time.  Czech fire polish 'crystal' beads for the decades and aves, 8/0 iridescent clear seed beads for spacers through the decades and aves, pink peruvian opal for the pater beads.  Hand knotted on imitation pink silk (silkon, I like it better than silk for heavily handled pieces).

I play guitar when I can.  I'm attempting to get the equipment, people and time to start a new band - my last one dissolved in 2005, on New Year's Eve actually.

I have a few rough demo tunes at my new band's myspace: http://www.myspace.com/shotgunvengeance

I have a boatload of hobbies.  I write for a living but I also write for fun.  I draw, etch metal, carve, and make fondant cakes.  Additionally, I raise miniature starfish and keep a saltwater aquarium.  I also design and build saltwater aquarium gadgets like in-tank refugia for sale and for my own use. The funny thing is that tomorrow I'll probably remember a few more things I do that could be considered hobbies.

You can see some of my fondant cakes here.  I still have to put up a photo of the Abbey Road cake I made for my partner's 40th last month.

Wow, those are pretty awesome!  I especially liked the beer cake but that's probably because I love beer but not a big fan of Miller though.

It looks very well made, no saggy bits or gaps. As to the purpose any support you can give your friend that buoys up her spirits is a good thing. She's going through enough grief at the moment without being told her world view is a load of BS. Best wishes to her and I hope the medication does its job.
