Oops!  I forgot to post episode 4 last week, but this week we didn't have a show since SCAN was closed for the 4th of July so here is episode four, late but not forgotten.  =D

Here is the youtube vid for the first 10 mins of the latest episode of Ask An Atheist.  I'll post the link to the full episode when it's up.  If you go to youtube you can watch the other 4 parts of the hour long episode.

This was Jerry's (on the right) first time hosting and by the second half of the episode he was nice and relaxed and really got into it.  Sam did a great job too, and this is only the second time he's hosted.

I'd like to embed an episode on my Ask An Atheist page - which one do you think is either your favorite or most representative of your program?

Personally, I really liked the second episode with Case and Casey (we had a few religious callers which is always good) or the fourth with Sam and Mike (I enjoyed the content of this episode, but the callers were a bit lackluster).

Can you share a link to the page once you have it up?  I'll be sure to post in on the AaA wall on facebook and (hopefully) send you some traffic.  :D  We're hoping that the show will gain momentum and thus gain attention from more people who don't necessarily agree, but I wanted to get some input from you guys regarding how we could invite theist participation in as non-confrontational a way as possible.  Sometimes it feels like simply existing threatens people, so inviting them to participate in a call in show with atheist hosts might seem like an all out attack.  :/

My Ask An Atheist page has been up since May of 2009 and gets fairly decent traffic often in spikes though questions have slacked off lately.  I opted to put up your introduction video.  I may add more in the future.  Is there any other promo link for your site that I can put up to maybe drive some traffic your way as well?

Awesome!  I just ended up spending about an hour and a half reading a bunch of your stuff.  =D

Another nonsense word: faith. It can mean so mean different things people forget during debate that religious faith is different than being faithful to a lover or having "faith" to sit in a chair.

Sophus, that's a really good point.  I hate hate HATE it when I'm talking to a person about religious faith and they try to say it's the same thing as having faith that gravity will continue to keep us on the ground or the faith I have that my friends and family would help me if things got rough in my life.

Indeed. I really enjoyed episode six. Those two are hilarious.

On Mike Adams, Thumpalumpacus was first to suspect it was all satire. Not necessarily any less stupid, but nonetheless, a little bit less sincere.

Here's episode 7 - Conspiracy Theories! (I'll admit being a sucker for a conspiracy theory or two in my life, for a short time.  Something about being 'in the know' on something huge and crazy was pretty attractive to me when I was younger.)

They also post the show on Youtube, but they can only post 10 minutes at a time, so I think the embedded version on the site is less hassle.
