Oh lord yes! I had no idea that a slightly posh English accent is an absolute aphrodisiac for quite a few American ladies. Can't say for the Scottish accent but you too may be in luck. I developed quite a good Roger Moore 'Good Evening would you mind helping me with (what ever it was). I would say it worked (had some beneficial effect) a good 50% of the time in Chicago, not so good in Boston! I like Gridiron and support The Bears. I went to Soldier field to see my first game a little after I had worked out the accent effect. I picked a lady usher to show me to my seat, I fully intended to exploit this new found 'magic force' to best effect. So,[PoshEnglish] 'Hello! Would you mind awfully helping me to my seat this is my first ever visit to America and my first ever match.' [/PoshEnglish]Candy from a baby! She showed my all around the stadium!!

As an American lady I can attest to the fact that both Scottish and English accents melt my pants off-USED TO!  Used to melt my pants off.  I'm engaged now, my pants no longer melt.  Ahem.  :D

Personally I like the Australian accent. But then again, I'm not American.

That reminds me. Is there any Australians around here? I can't remember seeing anyone.

Haha! It is something i desire to see work again, next time i visit the good old USofA. Every restaurant i visited had waitresses falling over each other to serve me. As Tank said, it is like a magic spell.

The French accent on a lady really does it for me.
