(^_^) When I was 18, my friend called me "The Omnipotent Munchkin Goddess". So I shorten it to "Munchkin Goddess" and most of my friends shorten it to "munchkin" or "munchie". XD

I'd shorten it to "m", I know less than 26 people so it works for me.
Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

I am not a very extreme case. I wear dark sunglasses when I am outside, and it's not too bad.
The thing that drives me nuts about it is when you tell people you have photophobia, they hear the "phobia" and say "youre scared of light?" and I have to explain what it really is, which is an extreme sensitivity to light. I have worked night shift most of my life just to make things easier.

Do you get migraines from the light? I just don't know anyone with photophobia, so I'm curious.

Yes, if I am outside on a bright day without my shades for too long, not only do my eyes water to the point where I can barely see, I will likely have a horrible headache. It sucks, but I'm used to it. I have my shades at all times, and my truck windows are tinted very dark. As long as I have dark sunglasses, I can live my life like everybody else. Most folks dont even know I have it.

Do you find yourself to have really good night vision? I have a friend who can see really well in the dark (as long it isn't complete darkness of course) and he attributes that to always wearing shades during the daytime.  (Sorry to get off topic, I'm just feeding my curiosity.)

Yes I do. I assume it is because my eyes do not naturally block light out like they are supposed to, so they can scavenge light well. Not completely sure, but it's a good guess.
