Quote from: "Ihateyoumike"1. I am 6'6" tall and a very lanky 200 lbs. No, I don't play basketball. Yes, you would've asked just like everyone else.
2. My older brother (hismikeness) is my best friend. Although you might not guess by my screenname.
3. I LOVE to play Texas hold 'em. My dream is to play in the world series of poker.
4. I'm what you might call a "pothead". And I'll be damned if I'm ever made to feel ashamed of that.
5. I've been all over the western half of the united states and to Hawaii. And of all the places I've ever been, crater lake in Oregon is the most mindblowing.
6. I can't stomach alcohol. At all. I've been drunk maybe twice in my life.
7. My biggest online pet peeve is when people write loose instead of lose. I don't know why but it makes me cringe every time. Every other spelling error doesn't bother me.
8. I have a very very long fuse, but when that fuse runs out, I have a very bad temper.
9. Most of the time, I prefer children and animals to adults.
10. I have become fascinated, almost obsessed, with all types of science. I just can't seem to get enough.
11. I don't like to follow the rules. And you can't make me. :headbang:

1) I have four tattoos that can be seen, with two covering older ones.
2) My left ear is pierced twice- was triple for a while but the third one kept getting infected.
3) I was the only guy at my 20 year high school re-union with hair longer than shoulder length.
It's gone now though. I switched jobs the following year and have to keep it professional looking.
4) I'm easy to spot find at a bar, because there is a 90% chance that I'll be the shortest guy in the place.
5) I love decorating my place for Halloween. Maybe I'll put some pics up.
6) I play paintball. Sleeveless.
7) I can use chopsticks almost correctly.
8) I can drive just about anything short of a tractor/trailer, automatic or stick.
9) I still hang around with most of the same people that I did in high school, over twenty years later.
10) I have enough useless information stored in my head that most people won't play trivia games with me more than once.
The one thing everybody needs to remember is that I never claimed to be sane!

A good useful attribute, making you a little target!

Got that right! Lately though, I've been playing more up front/agresively than sniper/stealthy, I am still pretty tough to hit if there is any cover at all to use.

Quote from: "Squid"8. I have a thing about anything getting too close to my eyes - optometrists hate me

That's me too. I nearly punched the optometrist when he merely suggested adding the numbing eyedrops for the glaucoma test the "traditional" way, by hovering the ominous tip of the dropper nanoinches from my cornea. No sir! You can dribble a couple of drops on my closed lids, and I'll blink it in. You son of a bitch!

I will have to go with glasses if my eyes ever get too bad. No contacts for me.

I have had both eyes cut open under local anaesthetist and watched my lenses scraped out from the inside and replaced by plastic ones. Doddle  :D

I have glasses but I don't wear them too often (kinda defeats the purpose of getting them I suppose) but when I went to the optometrist and then to the eye-wear place they were trying to push me to get contacts and I was adamant about not having contacts - there's no way I could struggle everyday trying to place those damn things on my eyeballs.

I have no idea where or when I developed this aversion - it gets so bad sometimes that walking into a store like those girly accessory stores with all the little wall hangers poking out like a million little spikes everywhere will actually make my eyes begin to hurt.  I usually tell my wife that I'll just wait outside.  It's very strange.

I'm not sure where my phobia developed either but I can remember as a kid suffering through the burning in my eyes from the swimming pool chlorine and I wouldn't accept Visine.

One thing for me, being tall is a normal size person holding an umbrella- well, the pokey things on the points are dangerously close to my eye level.
