I am starting to think it is both laziness and approach to learning because it is easy to take the information you receive and try to fit it into your beliefs. It is more difficult to go out and look for information to explain away all the things that were once considered miraculous and still believe in God in the end.

Yeah, I can agree with that. I only talk to people like that in public forums because it's not likely you will be able to have a rational discussion, but other people can who is being more rational... some other people can.
