Sweet baby jesus in a tuxedo suit this game is awesome.  I've replayed ME1 8 times, 6 of which were the same character, and I have the feeling I'm on track to do the same with ME2. I've already beat it on the PC, and have just started a new game on my 360 (The PC copy was, uh, "Rated Pi" :bananacolor:

tl;dr discuss ME2

Did you run across the planet named Darwin?  Just found it today and had to giggle - "An ironically inhospitable planet..."

My roommate just bought Mass Effect 2 as well. I haven't seen it yet; he's still interacting with his girlfriend. On that note, I lost a girlfriend to a video game once: Total Annihilation, back in the day. I so want to play TA again. It's like crack.  lol

I find that a little quality Katamari Damacy time with the wife makes up for the hours I spend [strike:1jqvoxny]playing[/strike:1jqvoxny] researching video games. Though, it's a good thing Heavy Rain is coming out after her comprehensive exams are over, otherwise nobody would be happy.  :D

For real.  Between some of my friends and I, we have about 12 people and a designated house ready to take a weekend for some SC2 action when it finally comes out.  I've been appointed as the network admin for the event, and have intentions of [strike:2logx2hx]abusing my newfound privileges to the fullest extent[/strike:2logx2hx] making sure [strike:2logx2hx]www.google.com redirects to www.meatspin.com[/strike:2logx2hx] everything works fine.  :hide:

^^ Are they still called LAN parties? In college I used to do that with Command and Conquer and later the original Starcraft and after that TA and Counterstrike. We'd descend on some out of town parents' house and hook up our gear and play for hours. The setup was hard work. Good quality flat screen 19" CRTs were heavy. I know, 19". What's that now? Fun times. :)

I always thought people were saying "land" parties....as in playing together on the same land instead of only virtually.  :D

We used to do LAN parties back in the day. A friend of mine was a caretaker at the local school. We used to use the school gym as our base of operations. We'd get our PC's there by 8am on a Sunday morning and spend most of the morning trying to get the network to work properly. By lunch we'd have all the relevant games installed on everyone's machines at which point, we'd frag the crap out of each other on games like Unreal Tournament, Command and Conquer and Half Life. We sometimes had up to thirty attendees.

They were some really geeky but awesomely fun times.

Oh man, buckle those things up! Otherwise bad things can happen when you hit the brakes!

I still haven't finished DragonAge - I'll be picking up ME2 as soon as I've finished both of my current DA playthroughs.
