Since Xmas is just around the corner after Thanksgiving, what is the one thing you guys want the most on your holiday wish list?

Personally, I really want a new pair of Timberland boots. I already have a pair of boots, but they're not all that comfortable since they're steel-tipped and heavy. I would buy them myself, but they're so goddamn expensive. I also wanted a GPS system, but I just ordered one online for myself.

No wish list for me, sorry, Godless. Not trying to sound like a prick, but I really don't want any material things anymore. At least not enough to put them on a wish list.  ;)

My wish list is a job.....not that fun but necessary.  I also want a smart phone but that must come after full time employment because they are kinda pricey.

I'd like to keep the crying to a minimum this Christmas.  Mom is coming for the holiday and this is our first Christmas since Dad died.

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that! But I hope everything goes well for you this holiday.

Focus on the good times, that helped a lot for my mom and grandmother (both big on crying) for the first holidays after my granddad died.

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas, only  a hippopotamus will do.  No crocodiles or rhinoceroseses, I only like hipopotamuseses, and hipopotamususeses like me too!!!

My little brother is going to Brazil over the holidays, so I'd like very much that he not be kidnapped.

Also, peace on earth and goodwill among everyone. 'tis the season, after all.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

Thoroughly concur.

But as for gifts, this one would truly buy my love for ever and ever:

I'd be quite happy if i was given lots of socks. I'm in dire need of new socks. They seem to be the thing i continually forget to buy when i go shopping. Some Xbox games would be nice, too.

I desperately need socks and underpants. Can anyone help me?

I could send you a care package, if you wish. :)

What would you feed it on?  Where would it sleep?  Maybe you should start with a hamster and work your way up.
