2001: A Post Odyssey

As I was about to type a response to a troll-like being in another thread, I noticed that I had exactly 2000 posts in the forum (yay-friggin-me). So rather than waste brain cells responding to yet another mindless hairball, I figured I'd type my 2001st post in honor of my avatar.

I'm going to try and hold out posting for a whole day, in order to bask in the loveliness of my Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic Computer. Now, for all you detail-oriented people out there, I know that 2001 has less symbolic meaning than January 12th, 1997 (1992 in the film), but hey, let's not pick nits.  :bananacolor:

And Joe, I am totally impressed with the Colossus reference. I didn't think anyone else would remember "Colossus: The Forbin Project". He was one bad computer! Of course, he was in cahoots with that Ruskie computer, Guardian.

Yeah - great movie.
