That is horribly sad.  He was a very good actor... I remember watching Kung Fu a long time ago.  Very charismatic.

I'm confused about ruling it a suicide if he had rope tied around "other parts of his body."  They don't say anything was restrained or tied together (hands, feet), so I wonder if this was an accidental thing, like the singer for INXS (can't remember his name now...remembered... Michael Hutchence).

Still, very sad.

Yup, very similar to Michael Hutchence.  Autoerotic asphyxiation is the term.

Well, CNN is still saying suicide as of last night, so I have a feeling quite a few of the other big American news agencies are doing the same.  I think in America is it sounds better to people to hear suicide than autoerotic asphyxiation because quite a few of us are prudes.
