Well, guyinagorillasuit and jehovaswaitress were both taken, so I went with the obvious choice,

(plus it's my web site)

Recusant

I was a bike messenger in San Francisco for the better part of two decades, and rode many bicycles over those years.  Each of them had a name:  Rosinante, Celestial Doggy, Mescalito, etc., etc.  (It was common to name our bikes back then, I don't know if that's still the case.)  Recusant was the name of the last bike I rode for a living, and later, when I started playing Go online, I chose it as my online handle.  I've used it ever since.

Jolly Sapper

Jolly Sapper, a modification of "Jolly Roger" and a name for my previous occupation in the Army.

Quote from: "Will"My first screen name here was Willravel, Will being my first name and Ravel referencing Maurice Ravel, my favorite composer.

Now it's just Will. Being my first name.

I always thought it was a play on "have *blank,* will travel."  have *blank,* will ravel.  thought you were comenting on the human condition there.

this is me, always reading too much into everything.  :)

Chock full of lies,

I had the same thought when I first saw his name.

Moigle

My name is Michael

When I was a child and Dad was annoyed with me, he put on his really gruff voice and yelled out (in his strong Australian accent) "Moigle...Stop that!"

athiest12

12 is from my day of birth and atheist is, well obviously because i'm an atheist

Twiddler

It's from another forum and that one came from a modification of a previous name which was just a bunch of abbreviations.  I'm not sure what a Twiddler is though, I think its some kind of remote or something...

LARA

Mine is just the diminutive of my first name, not terribly original.  And I happened to have the caps lock on when I joined and decided I liked the big, bold egotistical effect.  Plus it makes it look like an acronym which is fun 'cause the most similar one I can think of to it is ALARA, which is darkly amusing to me when I get depressed and toxic.
Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.

God is a cake, and we all know what the cake is.

(my spelling, grammer, and punctuation suck, I know, but regardless of how much I read they haven't improved much since grade school. It's actually a bit of a family joke.
