Quote from: "Willravel"Well, thinking back on my relationships, yes pretty much everything. Intelligent, less intelligent, funny, passive, aggressive, maybe a dozen different races, thin, overweight, daddy issues, independent, into anime; I've literally dated a cornucopia of woman.

How do you know what you like if you don't try a little bit of everything?  :D I'm with you on this one, except I mostly stuck to redhead/Asian.

I'm actually Asian and I'm only attracted to white girls right now. I barely look at Asian girls.

Ditto.

I'm lucky, though; I got one that's...

The problem is, when she meets a nice guy (someone like me haha!) they are usually super intimidated, mainly because she is so attractive that guys think she'd never go for them for their brain skills alone. So, in essence, her downfall is the fact that guys think they are way below her realm of acceptance, so they don't even try. The only guys who try it on are the aforementioned greaseballs which she has no time for. A rather unfortunate catch-22 situation.

You should see her put-down the guys who think they have the perfect chat-up line. It is hilarious.

I'm exactly the opposite to you.

Dude... totally.

Incidentally, I didn't mean redheaded Asians... I was trying to say redheads and Asians, but since I've only dated one Asian, I wouldn't really say Asians. Lots of redheads. One Asian.

Guess which one stuck.  :D

Anyone here ever wonder what'd be like to date a mexican woman?

I can tell you if you'd like to know... :brick:

Oh well, you can't have it all.

Oh, by the way Arthur Dent, the book store is not a bad place to look. Hover around the biology section at Borders for a little while and see what you find. I have had some really intelligent conversations with really down to earth people standing in front of Dawkins and Gould on the shelf.

So one of the girls I'm talking to right now is Asian (incidentally, the first asian I've dated) and so far she's a step above the rest. She's originally from Taiwan, but has been in America for at least ten years now. Speaks great english, though with an accent, and is ridiculously attractive. She'll be finishing her degree in biology this next semester, and then it's off to med school for her.

She did more things to please me the first time we went out than any of the other girls .... like, I mean above and beyond the call of duty! I could list them, but it would be entirely inappropriate!

I will definitely have to try this!

Well she's definitely pretty jealous - but that's not necessarily a bad thing in itself. As long as it doesn't ever become unhealthy. :)

BadPoison

Quote from: "curiosityandthecat"Jealousy seems very common from the people I've talked to who date Taiwanese women. I'm not entirely sure why. Are you friends with a lot of ex-girlfriends? Have a lot of female friends who take "liberties", if you know what I mean? If so, you might want to curtail that before it becomes an issue.  ;) I had to learn that the hard way.

Well, I've explained to her that I rarely date one person exclusively. She knows that there are other girls that I'm currently seeing - and she's not so fond of that. I'm not really worried about it too much at present, as if I start to fall for this girl after a few more dates, then I will definitely be calling everything else off. But she has mentioned that she may not always be comfortable with me going out with mixed gender groups of friends --

We'll just have to see. I'm definitely not the jealous type myself - and would never hold anything against her if she went out with other guys - especially if I knew I could trust her (if we were later in an exclusive relationship that is.)
