Simple enough, just post images you think look incredible...I made this just because I saw this picture; I have no idea why I loved it so much.

"Those who praise the light of fire, but blame it for its heat, should not be listened to, as they judge it according to their comfort or discomfort and not by its nature. They wish to see, but not to be burnt. They forget that this very light which pleases them so much is a discomfort to weak eyes and harms them..."
- St. Augustine

That picture is indeed a real beauty. For someone who speaks German, the name of the website where the picture is posted Is very funny.
The universe never did make sense; I suspect it was built on government contract.
Robert A. Heinlein

What does it mean? I've been copying images from the web and I don't know if I should see what the actual website contains :S

I've seen that you'd copied it from geilescheisse.com  If you are a German adult then you'd never use the words geil and scheisse in public, because geil means horny and scheisse means shit. In the current youth language however, geil also has the non-sexual related meaning of describing something that is "real cool" or "awesome". Geilescheisse may therefore also be translated in something like "awesome crap"  :) .

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -cs

I have some strange affection for this one.

I also like various images involving death and decay, but all I have are way over the maximum pixel limit so... Yeah... I'll post links to them if I come across them on the interwebs again.

I absolutely love CG art. I can't do it but appreciate people who can. I regularly visit a website called:

www.renderosity.com

Search for an artist called 'JCD'. He creates the most awe-inspiring sci-fi themed city scapes. I can't link one because you need to register to view the galleries and i think there might be copyright issues.

Please check him out though. Absolutely every piece of art he has done makes hairs stand up on my neck.
