So much for governing from the center.

Embryonic stem cells are completely unnecessary. Scientists can make pluripotent stem cells from skin now (induced Pluripotent Stem cells), and adult stem cells are now encroaching onto turf once considered strictly embryonic turf. Embryonic stem cells have not helped a single patient, while adult stem cells have helped many. iPS cells are much safer and much less controversial.
