Humanism, taken to its logical end, is transhumanism.  That is, the use of technology, science, and reason to improve the human condition.  I am transhumanist and it is largely what contributed to my lack of belief in religion.  Transhumanist values are here:  http://transhumanism.org/index.php/WTA/more/transhumanist-values/
