I wonder how many of McCain's supporters will pay attention to the .. umm.. well, lies, that have been in McCain's ad's lately?  Or are we condemned to have a repeat of 2000's "lets vote for the guy I'd like to have a beer with" election?

Between those people and the ones who will vote for McCain with the hope of keeping gays from marrying...we're doomed. I guess that and overturning Roe v Wade are the more important to them than the economy, war, and health care.

I just wonder how many people will vote for McCain just because he looks more like an US president than Obama.

It's interesting how the Israelis view Obama. He receives much support
both from Jewish liberals and arguably the right-wing AIPAC, but his
middle name bothers Israelis a lot. Also, there are doubts whether he is
