Seems that we are currently in a low for CO2 emissions. UK emissions are down to 19thC levels, shale gas has improved US levels, China is phasing out coal fired power stations and wind/solar is getting cheaper and more popular.

However, it seems that concerns have been expressed over the US situation in the near future . . .
