Thursday is "Forget-the-diet-it's-pub-lunch-day!" and today's venue was The Haywain (two-main-courses-for-price-of-one).

Steak and ale pie with chips (fries) and peas, washed down with Guinness. Hot chocolate brownie and ice-cream to follow.

Lettuce leaf and a carrot tomorrow...

Hot chocolate brownie. :yum:

As for me, nothing very interesting, basically what I eat practically every weekday:

Breakfast: smashed banana with granola
Lunch: rice, beetroot, beef with potatoes and carrots, and some cabbage.
Dinner has yet to happen, but it'll most probably be left overs from lunch.

On some days between afternoon meals I've been making vitamin shakes with banana, apple and oats, which is always a bad idea because I'm allergic to milk.  :-\

What I really want is some pizza.  :P

:yum:
Both of you.

Me? So far...
2 slices of toasted sourdough bread with margarine and one cup of coffee.  :-\

I'll eat something more exciting with lots and lots of jalapeños, later.  :let'seat:

Are jalapeños as hot as they say? I've never tried any of that, maybe due to the fear that it'll burn off all my taste buds.  :haironfire:

No, jalapeños are not hot at all. It's very disappointing when you bite one and it tastes like a bell pepper. Serranos guarantee "heat satisfaction" better. If you want 100% "heat satisfaction" try a Pequin pepper.  --Hot sons of bitches!  :yum:

I also used to think about the "pain" and "heat" before I started eating them, but what they do is just enhance the flavor of the food by about 200%. Your taste buds "wake up."  ;D

Fixt it!

I bought a bag of bird's eye chilis about ten years ago. Still ultra hot, still working through them one per meal!

Those hot little things are addictive. There are times when my food is just, "there." Then it hits me! It needs a hot pepper, any hot pepper, just burn me! Please!  ;D

 Heh, they'd probably wake up due to the agony! :P

I tried a pepper once, things didn't end well.

So far, nothing, but that sourdough toast does sound good esp. with a side of hot chocolate.

No one

Breakfast: 2 protein shakes

Lunch: Calabrese Salami, Del Duca Prosciutto, Capocollo, Genoa Salame, Provolone, Buffalo Mozzarella, Rosemary baguette

Diner: Chicken curry, Basmatti rice, Naan

Pasta Chick

Some organic Cocoa Krispies knock off, a whole lot of Panera, like 1/4 a bag of mixed Halloween candy, and BF is making venison liver with bacon and caramelized onions.

Dragonia

Breakfast: Coffee (I like it black), plain yogurt with honey (from my own bees :) ) and cereal mixed in.
Middle of the day: a few handfuls of pumpkin seeds, roasted from the pumpkins we carved, and... Probably a few nibbles of junk food, but I can't remember.
Dinner: pizza, because it was fast and easy and I didn't have time to cook because I was still trying to finish a Halloween costume.
And for the record, my taste buds find jalapeños to be unbearably hot! Admittedly though, I'm a super spicy-wimp.

I just finished breakfast. I had 2 slices of dark bread with a wonderful egg-salad on it.

Cooking schedule put back by having to take a neighbour to hospital for a sudden change of appointment time!

On way back got in stuff for my Friday Night Treat: vino, Cheddar cheese, sweet chilli rice crackers (I will remember to wash my hands after eating those this time!), chilli hummus and, to round it off, chilli chocolate!
