Though I got some excellent suggestions for the theme of this HAF photo challenge, I took the admonition from hermes2015 to heart, and riffing off of his username, I came up with what you see in the title of this thread. Hermes, is among other things, the god of borders and crossroads. It's a pretty loose category (hence the "etc.") and will allow for creative interpretation.

Each participating member is allowed three photos, though I'll stretch it to four if you really can't limit yourself. I'll be accepting entries into latish September, and will post a firm deadline as the month gets going (I'm going to be sort of busy so I don't know yet when would be a good time to set up the poll, which can be a bit time consuming).

I know it can take time to find the right image, so get going now and beat the rush.  :D

I'll set the deadline for the end of this month, and will post periodical reminders of its approach.  :)

Haven't had an overabundance of photos for this one. Two days left in which to submit entries.  :)

Not that I am aware of. I expect Recusant is busy. If you have a photo you want to enter send it in!
