Bad Penny II

Thwack! Thwack! Thwack@ oww shit, @s hurt much more than !s.
I deserve it though, Thwack@@@ Thwack@@@ Thwack@@@
Some years back I enjoyed Thwack@@@ watching listening to dear Bettany explain the Spartans to me.
Recently I"ve found her less attractive than I used to, and I don't think I'm paying her the attention I used to.  It's not that I'm into youth, that skinny young blond thing with the stud in her nose does nothing for me as she explains the hazards of the late Victorian era upper middle class home.
Thwack@@@ Thwack@@@ Thwack@@@ it's kind of invigorating if you relax, you missed a spot Thwack@@@ hmmm
I watched an old English woman with bad teeth talk about ancient Rome, might of been guilt that stopped me switching.
I've travelled on trains with Michael Portillo whose nose is annoying and who should have coats that don't crinkle, I didn't know him in his prime though so I don't yearn for it.
Griff Rhys Jones and Palin, I'm not saddened by their ageing.
Ahh fuck, the sun'll age you fast but we can still remember. Thwack@@@

Take my advice, don't listen to me.

Heh, I'll have to keep in mind the relative pain quotient of punctuation marks. That's good information to have at hand.

I missed Ms. Hughes' earlier appearances, so have nothing to compare with now. However, I can see how one might succumb to nostalgia. I find Lucy Worsley's posh smirk and ease with her material rather fetching (maybe I should acquiesce to some thwacks for that?) though I agree with your assessment of Suzannah Lipscomb.

The years have not been kind to Michael Wood.
