Perhaps it's a mutation that's going to branch off into sheep with attitude.

Looks like a Cheviot to me. They generally have a bit more on the ball than your average mutton-head.

They will learn to do that if the pit under the grid is not deep enough and they can get a footing on the bottom.

A friend of mine had an old ewe which had learned that she could jump across the whole grid.  Once they have the trick, you can't stop them.

A National Sheep Association spokeswoman said: "Sheep are quite intelligent creatures and have more brainpower than people are willing to give them credit for."

This is the British definition of "quite" ≈ "somewhat," as opposed to the American "quite" ≈ "rather."

Having grown up in a family that raised sheep, I can testify that they display a significant variation in intelligence (largely breed dependent, as alluded to above). In my opinion, while the average sheep isn't even somewhat intelligent, there are some who on a good day might achieve the level of a rather dull goat.

This is the part I reacted to. How could this spokessheep actually communicate with them higher primates? Or are we talking sheep-owner, sheep-lover or-the-like kind of association? Because the way I understand the name, it's by sheep for sheep.
