Tank the word "poke"  is an old american slang word that has naughty connotations.    I am sure that it does suggest the same thing in Britspeak.

It has the same meaning in the UK. But it's also something you can do on FaceBook to remind somebody you're still around. It also has a programming conertation where you 'poke' data into a memory location. So in this case I was 'poking' data into Ali that she was missed at HA. However Ali is very pokable!

Yeah I posted a link to it awhile back, made up by an English Ex-Footballer, ex-presenter and ex-green party speaker David Icke. He publicly announced he was the "Son of the Godhead" and it all went downhill for him from then on in, that is when he came up with his Babylonian Brotherhood which are the lizard people. It's funny stuff.

David Icke used to play in goal for Hereford United, my local team.  Not a lot of lizards around in those days.

Yes there were he just hadn't told anybody about them yet!
