I realized tonight what a terrible memory I have. I've known for quite some time that my memory's poor, and that I have large gaps of time I really have very little memory of. I wish I had a better one. It's weird. I can recall things clearly from 24 or so years ago (at least individual memories, not everything), but I may not remember doing something, say, a few years, months, or days ago. It's unsettling and I really dislike the feeling.

How about all of you? Can you remember things easily, either long term or short term? Anyone with a really poor memory?

My memory has declined quite a lot recently. It's my ability to recall recent stuff that's the problem.

My memory sucks really bad. Like I can't even remember what I had for breakfast the morning prior.

Homer:"No! Faith is what you have in things that don't exist. Your awesomeness is real."

Absolutely terrible for anything that I actually want to remember. It took me a frustrating number of repetitions to remember the name of Norman Borlaug (when I learned of his accomplishments, I thought, 'That's a name worth remembering'), but tidbits like a home phone number from when I was 7 or the Estonian slang for a handsome young man leap to the forefront easily.
