I'm having a flick through the ATT message board and it doesn't seem anywhere near as good as this place. Then again I've only properly read through the "for those who don't support the war..." thread, or whatever it's called. It's possible the most asinine political discussion - not for the topic but for the way it's handled - that I've read since visiting this place:

http://www.revleft.com/vb/

Banned me there! No explanation, and I hadn't broken any rules. I suspect, though, that it's because I'm a) right wing and b) I was, without a single drop of malice, shredding each and every one of their beautifully simplistic arguments. I was at an unfair advantage, really, because it's mainly inhabited by angst ridden teens who don't really have a clue what they're talking about, they just say they're communist because it's the cool thing to be at the moment. God forbid anyone who actually reads the papers and watches the news should come along and disagree with them because that would completely disrupt the harmonious orgy of arse-licking self-appraisal that they've managed to establish. I think they now restrict the accounts of anyone who is either right wing or left wing but not enough for their liking. Or anyone capable of expressing a point beyond "Grr rich ppl r gay 'n' Che Guevara rulz." pretty much.

Anyhoo, witness me trying to make the above seem more relevant than it really was: the moose, I understand completely how annoying some forums can be in terms of unfair banning :D . And welcome back to the forum Court. I'm Joy, the random tangential monologue guy, as you can see. Nice to meet you and the same to everyone else who I've not yet greeted!

Hal seems to be making my life easier.

I'm not sure why. Long story, but officially the only people he got rid of were a troll (SteveOxford) and me (?creepy user?).

In reality some rather popular users seem to be polite told to leave.

Mister Joy,

I just have to point out that there is a proper name for the back of the knees--popliteus.  Usage: popliteal fossa, popliteal artery, etc.

My sig isn't something I made, it's an iconic quote from Seth One Tooth the Walking Encyclopaedia, a character from a surrealist 70s radio comedy called Sir Henry At Rawlinson End, which is brilliant by the way. Completely silly, and it highlights the inbred insanity of the aristocracy. Made by a bloke called Vivian Stanshall (who was, himself, mad as a platypus on crack).
