When I was a kid a Labor government bought a Pollock, Blue Poles to much ridicule. Jack The Dripper has a place in the political history of my country. When the conservatives took government they didn't sell the painting, it had quadrupled or whatever in value. It had played it's part.

I do like M.C. Escher. But growing up in Montana I have always liked some of the Western artist that portray the life I knew as a child and grew up with
C.M Russell. Incidentally, my grandfather knew C.M. Russell and at one time in his life owned some doodles that he had done on scraps of paper that they were using to keep score of card games. I wish I knew where those went.
