Those are quite sharp. I assume they were taken with the same lens? If so, it's strange that I see some chromatic aberration in the first shot, but not the second. Lightroom can remove that, so I guess Darktable has an option for that as well.

It's the same osprey taken on the same day with the same lens. The first one does look rather... off though. I did make a few adjustments in Darktable but I'm pretty sure they aren't exactly the same. The light changed that morning.
