Well, Pudding thought this needed its own thread, so here goes. Post a list of your top ten favorite albums.

Now I know I'm still young and there's a lot of great albums I've yet to listen to, but my current favorites are:

1. "Rust In Peace" - Megadeth It has got to be the greatest thrash metal album of all time.
2. "Master Of Reality" - Black Sabbath Completely ahead of their time.
3. "Images And Words" - Dream Theater Excellent musicianship and songwriting.
4. "Painkiller" - Judas Priest The lyrics are stupid, but everything else makes up for it.
5. "Ride The Lightning" - Metallica And of course I had to put some Metallica on here.
6. "Wish You Were Here" - Pink Floyd I had a hard time choosing between this one and "The Wall", they're both excellent.
7. "The Number Of The Beast" - Iron Maiden Their most well known album.
8. "Melissa" - Mercyful Fate It may take some time to get used to the falsetto vocals.
9. "Kvelertak" - Kvelertak May be the best debut album I've ever heard.
10. "Lightning To The Nations" - Diamond Head Well known by every NWOBHM fan.

Very difficult list to make.

Notable mentions:
- "In The Court Of The Crimson King" - King Crimson
- "Blackwater Park" - Opeth
- "Houses Of The Holy" - Led Zeppelin
- "Deep Purple In Rock" - Deep Purple
- "Danzig II: Lucifuge" - Danzig
- "Vulgar Display Of Power" - Pantera
- "Among The Living" - Anthrax
- "2112" - Rush
- "Reign In Blood" - Slayer
- "Superunknown" - Soundgarden

It seems like I could've made a top 20 list.

Also, I decided to narrow it to one album per artist/band. If I hadn't, the list would be much longer.
The world's what you create.
