Rice is boring, borng, boring! Pasta is nearly as boring.

It's only the sauce and other additives that give them interest.

OK.  :sadcheer:
I like Mexican rice with spicy stuff in it.

My GF and I also make a rice thing where we put in rice, cream of something soup (mushroom, chicken, something with cheese in it), some veggies, and then chicken on top (with some more seasonings on it) and bake it. We like that rice dish.

But I also some times just eat plain rice next to chicken because I like rice by itself.

Have you had Arroz con Leche, yet?  :yum:
I have not had rice with milk. Sounds like something to try out.

Pizza and chocolate ice cream.

Hey, it's Saturday.

Literally what I did last night

I would make it my staple diet.

I'd do that if it were rice. I love rice.

I love, love rice!
How do you prepare your rice? Is it just plain white rice? Or do you make the Mexican style rice with vegetables in it?
My Dad married a white lady so I know only how to make white people food with no flavor. Not that white people food has no flavor. Just that she liked to make everything lack taste.

Anyways, I usually make rice, then cook meat and vegetables separate and roll them into tortilla grande.

If you like bland try it!

English rice pudding is made with sugar and cinnamon. The last being the only interest in the dish.

No, no, no!  :nu-uh:
We also put in it: raisins, condensed milk, Piloncillo, that's a type of brown sugar.

My partner once brought some palm sugar back from Bangladesh. It is similar to brown sugar, but with more depth. It should work well in rice pudding.

I would like to try palm sugar from Bangladesh.  :smilenod:
Maybe it's similar to piloncillo. This is how it's described:
QuotePiloncillo is as minimally-processed as you can get your sugar, short of chewing it out of sugar cane yourself. It's the product of cane juice boiled down to a thick, crystalline syrup, usually poured into cone-shaped molds to harden (the name piloncillo derives from "pylon"). What you get is a sugar rife with impurities that puts plain old brown sugar to shame. Modern brown sugar is just purified white sugar with some molasses mixed in. This is the real deal.

I'll share with you how I make my rice (Salvadoreño style  ;)):

1. Fry chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, chopped tomato.
2. Fry the rice with all that.
3. Add one cube of chicken Knorr Bouillon, Tomato, with Chicken Flavor.
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

4. Add 11/2 to 2 cups of water, bring to a boil, then, cover reduce heat to low.
5. After a few minutes, stir everything one more time. Cover it again. Turn the heat off, let it continue cooking with the small of water left in it. (Do not uncover it until all the water is gone.)

~That's all.

Never seen that tomato stock here, but got tomato puree.

Is the rice pre-steamed or boiled?
