Dispirited

Hey. After having lived the former half of my life as a faithful Christian child, the latter half has been spent as a skeptical Atheist. Unfortunately, I've had a few challenges to my faithful lack of faith, which is why I decided to register here to try to get some insight from the fellow faithless. Frankly, I'd love to be able to respond with a witty retort when the problems that stumped me are brought up again, but for the moment I'm entirely lost.

Please, help me cope with the possibility that there may be a divine being demanding I prove myself in order to enter eternal paradise, rather than being able to live my ordinary, inconsequential life before ending up as a long worm turd. To spare you all my reiteration of points I've made elsewhere, see the link I made above for my problem. I look forward to reading and responding to any reassurances, suggestions, etc. that I may be given.
