Mine was from one of the first email addresses I had - I didn't want something that required a whole bunch of numbers after it, so I thought of the stupidest thing I could think of there and then.  And there you have it....  :-*

Amalthea

Mine is from Lady Amalthea from Peter S. Beagle's The Last Unicorn

No real deep significance behind the decision, just a character I love.

And there is significance there too. Notice how that name begins with an A, has an m in it and comes from a book? Well, there is another such name there. How can it possibly be a coincidence?!  ;D

I have the animated version of this story on DVD.  It's a terrific little film.

I'm waiting for the movie of my life to be made.  It should cost about $7.23 and that includes the budget for special effects.

Genericguy

Inspired by Steven Soderbergh's Schizopolis. The generic greetings scene.

Ali

I'm really creative.  It's just my name.  Wannnnnnhhh wannnnnhhhh.

Xiilent

I used to play call of duty 4 with this guy name S1lentSn1per all the time, and so i took the "S1lent" part from that. I made a rogue on WoW and I was like trying to figure out how i could make a name close to "Silent" but make it different but still cool. So i changed the S to and X and i thought that that was still too close to Silent so i put two i's cause it looked awesome in my opinion. So yea, no deep, meaningful message behind my name. I guess it kinda reflects how quiet i am in real life but that's neither here nor there. xD

Firebird

Mine's from the "Firebird Suite" by Igor Stravinsky. I used to play a lot of classical music, and it was a cool handle for online gaming too

When I first saw Firebird I thought somebody was refering to xSilverPhonix  ;D

I think it's an excellent user name.

The lowercase i is cool, but it's 'Apple' cool. Lowercase x is the new lowercase i for any obscure trademarks.  8)
