Do they think about Jesus? Do they pray? Do they read the Good Book? Do they tune into Jack Van Impe?

Right now I'm bored, out of my mind bored. Looking out the window at the street bored, not feeling much interest in anything bored, not thinking about anything in particular bored.

The thing is, I don't mind it so much. When you're bored you're encountering yourself. Now that can be disconcerting (am I that vacuous?) but it can also be somewhat illuminating to see that there's nothing, not thing one, to do or think about at the moment. There's a sort of purity to boredom.

But Christians, now, do they ever get bored? I mean, how could they? Every little thought or deed has so much significance to them that I would imagine that it's almost a sin to be bored with God's great creation and all that hoohah.

Just a thought. As I said, I'm bored.

...perhaps they pray for us.  ;)

They masturbate and do all of the other things that their religion tells them not to do.

When I was a christian (about 1-2 years ago) and I was bored, I would play video games, now that I am atheist, I do the same.

Bugger! Beat me to it!
If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.

Remember, your inability to grasp science is not a valid argument against it.

They think: "What would Jesus do?".  :hmm:
The world's what you create.

I actually thought about God a lot as a Christian. Made the "sinning" that much better, not to mention other techniques.

I have a friend that goes to local parks and preaches to the homeless.
She gets yelled at alot, I went with her once to calm down the angry ones. They keep injuring her and she keeps trying. Sigh.

10/10 for perseverance, 0/10 for sense!

Bored? How about porn? Most of the Christian guys I work with admit to it...much to their wives chagrin...*laffin*
The essence of the mind is not in what it thinks, but how it thinks. Faith is the surrender of our mind; of reason and our skepticism to put all our trust or faith in someone or something that has no good evidence of itself. That is a sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith is not.
