I hear tale that it's not too far from where I was born and raised, and currently live.

what is time? this video is basd on what would be an old. old motion picture now.

not so old to me.

the world changes, but i seem to stay the same.

fifty years ago, on a drill ship off the coast of borneo, i saw this motion picture, and it taught me something about human existence.

in all the time since, i dont think ive learned anything that contradicts it.

Was Barry Newman in any other equally memorable movies?

RIP Chris Cornell.

I first heard of him from the Seatlle grunge movement. Sound Garden.

apparently not. he made a career in television but nothing apparently rivalled his role as the disillusioned kowalski in vanishing point.

his character in that motion picture influenced me deeply when i was young, and has continued to stay in my mind later on when i understood more about life. a simple story, but the most profound things always turn out to be simple, dont they?

Thanks. That movie had a big effect on me as well.

did it really

An odd choice, I suppose, but another one was John Schlesinger's Sunday Bloody Sunday. It clarified a lot of things for me at the age of 25.
