At first I thought it would be fun to have an account there, but later I realized that most people who are interested in me are spammers. I haven't been on myspace in ages and  I'm now considering to cancel my account there.

I was away for several months, but have started up again. It seems to be a little better now. You just have to be smart about it. Add me if you want. http://www.myspace.com/musicbreath

Don't cancel yet. The best way to use it is to add people that you like such as bands, authors, etc, and then other people like them will be asking you to add them. I've found lots of great music that way. Then of course you can blog for your regular friends to read (the bands and such probably don't read the blogs of friends). Otherwise, if you don't add people first, then yeah, you'll probably just hear from the spamming fucktards.

Sure you bet. Tell me which one it is, and I'll send you a bigger version of it. I'm actually going to be adding a few more pics today or tomorrow. What's your Myspace name?

You are probably right Steve Reason, I'll keep my myspace account for the moment to discover all those great bands, authors and fellow atheists. BTW thanks for the add!

Anyone on FaceBook?
I'm not yet, just because it looks more teen oriented.

Just got signed up on LinkedIn, tho... and am a YouTube member too.
Also a bunch of acting sites...

Too much to keep track of,

Yeah Facebook doesn't really appeal to me. MySpace isn't perfect, but it does what I want it to do. My original intent was to use it to find new music, and it has done that in spades. But it's also pretty decent for blogging and such. I don't imagine that Facebook would be a good promotional site for music and movies if I understand what it's used for. Which not only makes it not useful for someone in your line of work, but for people like me as well.

So, on those acting sites, do they have forums where actors tell each other that their last tv show or movie sucked?  :D

Facebook was originally set up so that you had to have a .edu email account in order to join.  Now they let any idiot join; but it's mainly meant for college students and their professors.  I just use it to get in touch with old friends when special events occur (I also don't say anything about atheist on there since it is associated with my real name and I don't want to chance loosing a job over an employer checking face book...they do look at that sometimes).
